By accessing and using the Aleva merchant platform mobile application and website, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. Aleva is a marketplace platform designed for merchants to sell their products directly to customers.

Aleva is a comprehensive e-commerce platform that enables merchants to:

- Process customer orders and payments
- Track sales and analytics
- Communicate with customers
- Manage shipping and fulfillment
- Access merchant tools and resources
3. Merchant Account Requirements
To use Aleva as a merchant, you must:
- Provide accurate business information and documentation
- Maintain a valid business license (where applicable)
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Provide quality products and services
- Maintain accurate inventory and pricing
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries
4. User Accounts
When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Ensuring that you exit from your account at the end of each session
5. Prohibited Activities
Merchants and users may not use the platform to:
- Sell illegal, counterfeit, or prohibited items
- Engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices
- Violate intellectual property rights
- Spam or harass customers or other users
- Manipulate reviews or ratings
- Circumvent platform fees or policies
- Sell products that violate platform guidelines
- Distribute malware or harmful code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts
6. Product Listings and Content
Merchants are responsible for:
- Accurate product descriptions and images
- Proper categorization and tagging
- Compliance with advertising standards
- Intellectual property rights clearance
- Product safety and quality standards
- Regular inventory updates
- Appropriate pricing and tax compliance
7. Payment and Fees
Aleva charges merchants:
- Transaction fees on completed sales
- Listing fees for premium placement
- Payment processing fees
- Additional fees for premium services
All fees are clearly disclosed before service use. Merchants receive payments according to the agreed schedule.
8. Customer Service
Merchants must:
- Provide timely customer support
- Handle returns and refunds according to policy
- Maintain professional communication
- Resolve disputes in good faith
- Comply with customer service standards
9. Data and Privacy
Merchants agree to:
- Protect customer data according to privacy laws
- Use customer information only for legitimate business purposes
- Comply with data protection regulations
- Report any data breaches promptly
- Respect customer privacy preferences
10. Intellectual Property
The Aleva platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Aleva and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Merchants retain ownership of their product listings, images, and business content, but grant Aleva a license to display and distribute this content through our platform.
11. Platform Modifications
Aleva reserves the right to:
- Modify platform features and functionality
- Update terms and conditions
- Suspend or terminate accounts for violations
- Implement new policies and procedures
- Change fee structures with notice
12. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement:
- With 30 days written notice
- Immediately for material breaches
- Upon account inactivity
- For violation of platform policies
Upon termination, merchants must fulfill outstanding orders and comply with data retention requirements.
13. Limitation of Liability
Aleva provides the platform “as is” and disclaims liability for:
- Merchant business decisions and outcomes
- Third-party actions or content
- Technical issues or downtime
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of profits or business opportunities
- Product quality or merchant performance
14. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Aleva and its licensees and licensors from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from:
- Your use of and access to the platform
- Your violation of any term of these Terms of Use
- Your violation of any third-party right
- Any content you post or transmit through the platform
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Finland.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.
17. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
18. Disclaimer
The platform is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. Aleva makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the platform or the information, content, or materials included thereon.

20. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Aleva regarding our platform and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have had between us regarding the platform.
By using Aleva, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
